A little about me

Hi, I’m Joe.

I’m Yi Qiao Lin, an Electrical & Computer Engineering student at Northeastern University in Oakland, California. I build things at the intersection of mechanical design, electronics, and software.

My projects range from ReVersaPrint, an open-source industrial 3D printer, to custom in-ear monitors and robotics control software. I learn by designing in CAD, assembling a prototype, testing what works, and refining the details.

That same approach shapes how I mentor robotics students and share engineering through EVergreen and Future of Engineers. I’m interested in making technical ideas useful, understandable, and accessible to other builders.

Beyond engineering

Robotics, rugby, swimming, art, and computer science. I bring the same curiosity to a new mechanism, a drawing, or a day in the pool.
